Forest Walks

Ards Friary is home to around 100 acres of woodland. There are several areas of this woodland that can be explored, however, there are also areas which we ask people not to go into. Extending beyond the woodlands at Ards Friary is the Coillte Ards Forest Park, which has around 20km of trails of varying degrees of difficulty, much of this area has purpose-built trails, which are more suitable for those of a good level of fitness.

Don’t forget to pop into the Coffee shop for some refreshments and goodies after your walk!
