Ards Friary Centre for the Care of Creation lies on 200 acres of woodland on the shores of idyllic Sheephaven Bay, just 30 kilometres from Letterkenny. The Capuchin Franciscan Friars have lived, worked, studied, and prayed here since the 1930’s. Today Ards is an oasis of peace for those seeking to step out of the hustle and bustle of modern life for a while.

All Souls’ Day is a special time to remember and pray for those we have loved and lost.
This year, you can honour the memory of someone special while helping to protect Ards Friary for generations to come.
With a gift of €500 or more to our Nurturing Hope Together campaign, you can have a plaque placed in the Peacemakers Chapel in memory of a loved one.
Opportunities include supporting the care of our beautiful grounds, a chair in the Peacemakers Chapel, and the preservation of Ards’ stained-glass windows.
Make your gift by 19 October to have your loved one’s plaque in place for All Souls’ Day.
